Brief Bio

I am a postdoc in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology working under the supervision of Dr. Anuradha Annaswamy. Prior to joining MIT, I obtained my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, San Diego in 2021 where I worked with Prof. Jorge Cortés. I received a B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra in 2012, and a M.Tech. degree in Control & Automation from IIT Delhi in 2016.

Our research focuses on synthesizing resilient and tractable algorithmic solutions for network optimization problems. One of the application areas in which we are interested is the aggregation and control of distributed energy resources to enable their participation in the energy market. We use tools from nonlinear control theory, distributed optimization, cyber security, graph theory, linear algebra, convex analysis and optimization.
